Education is a principle that has been held in high regard for a long time in the Western World. It is a keystone of success in the modern world important to most anyone. So why is it that America is failing to sufficiently educate students of all backgrounds socioeconomic and racial?...When a family is is economic disparity and need they cannot focus on education for their children if they need it.

“More than 140,000 students were held back in kindergarten in the 2011-2012 school year. Black students are more likely to be held back, despite mounting research showing that holding back children doesn’t benefit them socially or academically and makes them more likely to drop out later on” (Cook).

To support and help our entrepreneurs in this country would be a great idea to bring back local business and workers to America. An investment in our education system would cost a fair amount in the short term but in the long term it could help support a nation of creative individuals
